Summer 2011 is in token of passenger flights to Elba island on behalf of italian company Elbafly. We fly to Marina di Campo airport regulary from Milano-Malpensa and Bergamo.

SILVER AIR Ltd. has exercised the winter period to improve its own fleet, to meet the strictest European criteria.

SILVER AIR Ltd. started the new season with operations in Bulgaria on 8th of March 2010. Our aircraft operated on routes between Sofia, Skopje, Tirana and Budapest five times a week on behalf of Air Max.

The end of year 2004 brought us new operations in Italy for the company Miniliner. For 5 years, SILVER AIR Ltd. operated on behalf of Miniliner from Olbia, Cagliari, Bari and Palermo, mainly connecting these destinations with Rome.

SILVER AIR Ltd. left Italy at the end of 2009 due to Miniliner’s insolvency.

In 2002 SILVER AIR Ltd. won Czech Post tender for regular air transport of mail between Prague and Ostrava.

The year 2004 was marked by new regular flights for DHL between Zagreb and Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Bosnian company Icar Air. In 2006, the routing was changed to Ancona – Sarajevo.

The second regular connection between Prague and Ostrava, and also second regular operation for DHL, was opened during the year 2005. The relocation of DHL main logistic center to Lepzig caused cancellation of this connection and introduction of new one between Ostrava and Leipzig in June 2006.

Luckily, a new contract came very soon and in September 1997 SILVER AIR Ltd. signed contract with TNT on regular air transport of its parcels between Prague and Nurnberg (later changed to Liege) with Let 410. In 2001 bigger An-26B from Latvian company RAF AVIA was leased on behalf of SILVER AIR Ltd. because cargo volume continually increased . This airplane flew on the route Prague - Liege until June 2003 when it was replaced by TNT’s BAE-146.

Company SILVER AIR Ltd. was established in 1995 in order to provide services in civil aviation, especially in technical maintenance planning for airplanes of charter airlines. In the first half of 1996 we decided to expand activities into commercial air transport and to transform the company into charter airlines. Own airline activity was started at the beginning of 1997 by managing operations of Boeing B727-200 in region of South-East Asia (Vietnam). This activity unfortunately ended very soon due to insolvency of our bussiness partner and the management decided to acquire a new aircraft type – Let 410.
